One-of-a-Kind Natural Mahenge Pink Spinel Engagement Ring
Created as a truly special alternative to the traditional diamond engagement ring, this one-of-a-kind BOÎTE LAQUE piece centers on a 0.53 ct natural Mahenge pink spinel, surrounded by natural diamonds and intricate details in 18K solid rose gold.
The center spinel measures approximately 4.8 × 4.7 mm and is cut in a softly proportioned cushion shape. Its vivid pink color is beautifully complemented by the warmth of rose gold and the brilliance of natural diamond accents.
Only one ring will be created with this particular center stone, making this a truly individual engagement ring.
About Mahenge Pink Spinel
Mahenge spinel takes its name from the Mahenge region of Tanzania, an important source known for producing exceptionally vivid pink and red spinels.
In recent years, fine natural spinel has received increasing attention from collectors and fine-jewelry lovers. Particularly beautiful pink and red spinels have become increasingly sought after as awareness of the gemstone has grown.
Unlike many commonly encountered colored gemstones, spinel is also appreciated for the beautiful colors that can occur naturally, making a fine pink spinel an especially compelling choice for someone seeking a distinctive natural gemstone.

The Design
Inspired by antique European jewelry, botanical forms, and ornamental architecture, the setting was designed around this individual Mahenge spinel.
Delicate diamond-set leaves, marquise-shaped details and sculptural scrollwork surround the center stone, creating a ring that feels romantic and historical while remaining distinctly BOÎTE LAQUE.
The setting is made in 18K solid rose gold and finished with 0.18 total carat weight of natural diamonds.
