This pendant was designed to feel like the second.
At the center sits a natural emerald weighing 1.64 carats, glowing with a rich forest-green color that only genuine emeralds possess. Instead of surrounding it with a traditional metal halo, the emerald is framed inside a sculptural window of faceted natural clear quartz.
The clear quartz is not simply flat-cut. It has been crafted using a bright step-cut faceting style, allowing light to travel through multiple layers of crystal. This dimensional cutting gives the entire pendant an extraordinary brilliance and depth.
If the quartz were cut as a simple flat plate, the cost would be much lower — but the layers of light and architectural beauty would disappear. By carving the crystal into a fully dimensional form, the pendant gains both visual richness and a sense of sculptural presence.
This intricate faceting is also one of the reasons the pendant has a substantial gold structure, ensuring the stone is securely set and perfectly balanced.
Surrounding the crystal frame are four natural diamonds (approximately 0.03 ct each), adding subtle points of sparkle that highlight the emerald without overpowering it.
The result is a pendant that feels refined, luminous — every element working together to create a jewel that catches light beautifully from every angle.
Another thoughtful detail is the deep, weighted setting, which prevents the pendant from flipping while worn. This allows the piece to sit elegantly against the body whether styled on a shorter chain or worn as part of a longer layered necklace.
The entire pendant measures approximately 17.5 mm × 26.5 mm, making it a striking yet wearable statement piece.
