At the center of The Moonlit Mirage is an extraordinary 11.5-carat natural Contra Lux
Mexican Water Opal: opal, chosen for its soft translucence and luminous, almost watery glow.
Rather than an intensely fiery opal, this stone has a quieter and more mysterious character. Its body moves between creamy white, silvery translucence and subtle flashes of color as the light changes.
Surrounding the center opal is an elaborate halo of approximately 5.8 carats of natural color-change garnets and 1.25 carats of moonstones.
Together, the gemstones create an unusual palette of moonlit white, blush, champagne, smoky rose and shifting garnet tones.
The lower opal drop is articulated separately, allowing it to move gently when the jewel is worn.
With approximately 18.55 carats of gemstones in total, this is a true statement piece designed around the individual character of its center opal.

THE DESIGN
The inspiration behind The Moonlit Mirage began with the atmosphere of old-world fantasy—moonlight, shifting landscapes, antique treasures and the feeling of discovering something extraordinary.
The composition was built outward from the opal.
The luminous center represents light.
Moonstones bring a cool, ethereal glow.
Color-change garnets introduce warmth and movement, shifting between muted rose, champagne and deeper tones depending on the surrounding light.
The articulated lower stone gives the jewel an additional sense of movement.
